Committee Charge


The CREW Network Member Education Committee is responsible for leading the selection of high-quality programs for the CREW Network Convention and Marketplace. Its work will require high-level, pro-active searches for innovative industry programs and exceptional professional development training opportunities for our members. Member education and professional development are two of the high-priority cornerstones of CREW Network’s strategic plan and are critical to the success of our chapters and members. 

Member of this committee are appointed by the CREW Network board of directors in the summer, for work on the following year's convention.


Volunteer opportunity


We are opening recruitment for volunteers interested in serving on the 2020 CREW Network Member Education Committee. The committee develops session content, identifies potential speakers and assists with preparing for breakout sessions. Volunteers should have:

  • Expertise and knowledge in a specific area or asset class of CRE (e.g. office, industrial, mixed-use, hospitality, retail, technology, CRE industry-wide trends);
  • A network of executive thought-leaders in the industry that can be tapped for speaking roles;
  • Global perspective and ability to envision sessions that are innovative and forward-looking;
  • Ability to participate in one planning meeting (in person) Dec. 2-3, 2019 in Austin, Texas;
  • Willingness to attend the 2019 convention and observe sessions and excursions; and
  • Willingness and ability to attend the 2020 convention. 

Member education and professional development are cornerstones of CREW Network’s strategic plan. The Member Education Committee's work will require high-level, pro-active thought leadership to create innovative industry programs and exceptional breakout sessions for our members.

Note: The term of service for the 2020 Member Education Committee will be Sept. 1, 2019 through the completion of the convention being planned (September 2020).  If you are interested in applying for any of CREW Network’s other committees, that announcement will be made later in the summer.
