As I was reading a popular magazine this morning, I notice an article about an event called #sheinspires. The event recognized inspiring women and their impact on their industry. We get inspiration from so many places and people ... isn’t it great to be inspired by a CREW Network colleague, friend or client? I have had the pleasure of being inspired by so many women in my life, starting with my mother who inspired me with her random acts of kindness. She taught me that a simple act can create an impact that is felt long after. I believe that the CREW Network Impact Awards are the same — inspiring us long after the event has ended.
We have so many amazing women to celebrate. Women who have challenged the odds, taken on big projects, collaborated on great deals, sponsored and mentored as well as raised up others in their ranks. Our Impact Awards not only align with our mission, they are directly supporting our mission to “Influence the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women.”
I encourage you to celebrate achievements of inspiring fellow members by nominating them for an Impact Award. The April 15 deadline is just days away, so take a moment now to think about someone who has inspired you and recognize their achievements by nominating them for an award. Categories include Member-to-Member Business, Economic and Community Involvement, Career Advancement for Women and Entrepreneurial Spirit.
