It's official! CREW Network is a global organization with the launch of our first affiliate group in the UK. CREW UK launched last night to much fanfare, with 150 in attendance and a lively discussion led by women's advocate and journalist and radio personality Harriet Minter.

Welcome comments from Julia Nott-Macaire, who spearheaded the effort to bring CREW Network to the UK, and CREW Network President Alison Beddard, Senior Director - Office & Investment, Cushman & Wakefield Commerce, opened the event. Beddard described her personal journey through CREW Network, which set the stage for further discussion about leveraging our network for business opportunities and leadership growth.
Joined by women business owners Natalie Campbell and Emma Sexton, Minter posed questions about the state of gender diversity and the group discussed the scientific proven value of women in leadership roles. The lively conversation turned to the audience who participated in the dialogue as well.
A panel featuring industry leaders from Deloitte and Deutsche Bank, along with Beddard and Minter as moderator (below), discussed the state of diversity in commercial real estate and efforts that have been implemented which facilitate greater opportunities and position companies as industry leaders.

A true CREW networking session closed the evening, and by that, I mean a very lively, boisterous group of CRE professionals made new connections and shared ideas. An affiliate group was born.

CREW Network deeply appreciates the CREW UK Leadership Committee's efforts in making this vision a reality, and a special thanks to Kathryn Harrison at Deutsche Bank for hosting the event. Kudos also to our Global Agenda Program Sponsor Cushman & Wakefield for supporting this CREW Network initiative.
Cheers,
WM
