Along with Toyota, State Farm and Liberty Mutual, I recently fell in love with Dallas. I had not visited the city in quite some time, so it was impressive to see amazing development and hear about the companies moving their headquarters to this boomtown. Truly, there is a movement in Dallas these days that is attracting all types of development and an incredible energy in the city and regional area. Even Facebook is getting in on it with its “sprawling” new data center. So what else is there to celebrate in the Big D? CREW Dallas members and their success!

Telling the audience about the first time I met CREW Dallas President Suzanne Brasuell.
It was great to attend the annual holiday luncheon and awards celebration with the CREW Dallas members and leaders. Festive and lively, the event was the culmination of an exceptional year for the chapter and some terrific firsts.

The CREW Dallas event drew a crowd to celebrate volunteers and the season.

Chapter President Suzanne Brasuell shared the top 10 “firsts” the chapter celebrated this year that included:
It was definitely a fantastic year for the chapter!

President Suzanne Brasuell, 2018 President Paula Beasley and myself.
It was great to have some time before the luncheon to meet with the board leaders and learn about the opportunities and initiatives for CREW Dallas. Each time I visit a chapter I am so impressed by the work we are doing in the local markets and the excitement for the programs offered by CREW Network. I loved hearing that CREW Dallas rented luxury buses to carry 75 members to Houston for the 2017 CREW Network and Convention Marketplace in October. That’s dedication!

As chapter tradition following the luncheon, members moved to the Rattlesnake Bar at the Ritz Carlton to have a holiday toddy and toast the fantastic business network that is CREW Dallas and CREW Network. It was terrific to be part of this amazing event.
