CREW members support one another! So, it was no surprise that when Judy Channick of NORR took on the renovation of her firm’s office, she enlisted as many fellow CREW Philadelphia members as possible to assist.

As Head of Interior Design for the Philadelphia office of NORR, Channick was tasked to lead the renovation of her 10,000 sq. ft. office. She quickly engaged Bettyann Silvius of Bittenbender Construction, a women-owned firm, as her general contractor. For furniture, Channick turned to fellow CREW Philadelphia members Raelene McCarthy of Allsteel and Emily Allen of Humanscale for design ideas and products.

The women were no strangers to working together before this project, and have worked together several times since.

Channick, McCarthy and Silvius served successive terms as Membership Chairs of CREW Philadelphia and all three women have served on the chapter board. Allen is currently serving as the Events Co-Chair for the chapter and has accepted a new role with Gunlocke as Business Development Manager.
