A two-part intensive executive training series designed for CREW Network
Leading with Courage, designed exclusively for CREW Network, introduces a leadership model for companies and chapters working to foster a culture of innovation, attract and retain employees and members, and advocate for equity and parity.
This work continues to be strategically important to organization’s ability to attract and retain talent and create a culture needed to meet business goals and objectives.
This series will focus on reconnecting with the “why” of this work and examine how to continue to lead with courage and commitment. Each session will offer the opportunity to learn new information, data and concepts;practice internal reflection and exploration, leveraging courage; and, identify actions to continue to lead in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
During each interactive 90-minute sessions participants will:
· Explore skills and concepts that support brave and authentic leadership including courageous conversation, intercultural competence and inclusive leadership skills.
· Examine ways to connect diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging with engaging and retaining talent, fostering a culture of innovation, and enhancing business performance.
· Share insights and experiences with each other through small group discussion and facilitated dialogue.
Session 1: Leading with Courage & Authenticity

Effective leadership requires the ability to navigate challenges, make tough decisions, and inspire and motivate others. It also requires the willingness to be vulnerable, admit mistakes, be authentic, and show empathy. In this session you will learn how to scale your leadership as an individual, within your team and in your organization. You will learn to build organizational capacity to create outcomes that matter most by leading with courage and authenticity and advocating for equity and parity.
Session 2: Drive Innovation, Revenue & Retention
Tuesday, October 24, 2023 | 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM CDT
This session will address how your leadership enhances your team’s ability to recognize new and different market opportunities, better appreciate unmet market needs and deliver better overall financial performance. We will also learn the key components of creating and maintaining company culture that makes talented people want to join and stay.
